I stayed at Alexandra Court on July 19. Here is my review 5* all round. I don't review on Trip Advisor as I don't want to be part of their data sharing.
This hotel is outstanding in quality and value. All areas are tastefully decorated and furnished. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The hotel is individual in character, there is nothing of the 'chain' about it. Yet it is very professionally managed.
I had a basic double room which was extremely pleasant and comfortable.
The experience made me keen to visit again.
