Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), this property is taking steps to help protect the safety of guests and staff. Certain services or guest capacity may be reduced as a result.
The Alexandra Court Hotel boasts 13 individually designed bedrooms, decorated with care and precision. The majority of rooms boast either a king size or super king size bed with our one single room having a comfortable three quarter size bed. Each room comes complete with en-suite facilities, a flat screen television and a fantastic range of complimentary toiletries provided along with free wifi throughout the hotel.
To the rear of the hotel you will find our lovingly tendered and award winning landscaped garden where you can relax in the peaceful surroundings either by the stream on the well manicured lawn or on the terrace area which is covered by a glass roof and insulated with heat warmers in winter.
We offer a personal and attentive service to all our guests which is proven to be successful due to our feedback and percentage of repeat business. We also offer the hotel for exclusive hire where guests can have the luxury of having complete exclusivity of all the rooms throughout their stay.
Cancellation Policy
Should you need to amend or cancel your booking, our cancellation policy states that you must make us aware in writing by email only, on or before by 14.00hrs one day before you are due to arrive (24 hrs. notice). Any cancellations or alterations after this time will be chargeable at the full rate of the total cost using the card or account given as guarantee at the time of booking. Please let us know as soon as possible of any issues.
Once you have arrived and checked into the hotel in relation to your booking, any changes or cancellations will be for the total cost regardless of time or date of cancellation without exception.

To add breakfast on to a Room Only rate the price is £14.95 per person (this includes a fully cooked breakfast plus a choice of cereals and yogurts and tea/coffee or fruit juice.
Evening meals
We do not offer restaurant service or evening meals for hotel residents. However, we can arrange for soup or sandwiches to be available on request. Please note, any orders must be made prior to arrival to avoid disappointment. We can recommend local restaurants and bars, which are a short walk or drive. For more information please call our Reception Team and we will be happy to advise on the options available.
Tea Rooms
Our Tea Rooms are open Friday to Sunday from 12pm to 3.00pm offering a selection of drinks, pastries and desserts. Our ever-popular Afternoon Tea hand crafted by our award-winning pastry chef Andrew Bourne is available Friday to Sunday from 12.30pm to 3.00pm (Afternoon Tea must be pre-booked please).
The Tea Rooms will not be open when we have a private wedding or function taking place, please call to find out our availability prior to arrival.
Reception will close for check in every night at 22.00 hrs - please arrange room key collection before 22.00 hrs on the day of your arrival. If you are not able to do so in person on or before this time you must call the hotel reception immediately. Access after 22.00 hours every night will be via the rear garden door using your room key only.
